MS3. Signal and Data Processing: Theory and Applications

Signal and data processing is a longstanding, very active and established research field, which is facing new challenges and new emerging applications in the big data era. With the rapid development of modern signal and information technologies, more and more sophisticated mathematical tools are being developed and applied; new theories are emerging and old methods are being challenged to adapt to the needs of dealing with massive data and in cooperative environments.

This minisymposium is intended to bring together researchers from different fields with the aim of presenting and sharing new theoretical results and advanced computational methods related to some of the current trends in signal and data processing.A special emphasis will be on the applications to real‐world problems, mainly including biomedical applications.
